He is a well-rounded student, maintaining a 3.0 GPA in Honors coursework while playing Varsity Football on Ridgeway's Number one ranked team. Michael has played football since he was 5 years old winning numerous awards including the Rhino, MVP, and the prestigious Mr. Cowboy Award. He is loved and supported by his family including his mother Angela Staples and his great grandmother Kathryn Bowers.
